    I'll take Peralta.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

from arizona selling us Touki for taking Bronson's $.

I'm saying there is no way I'm taking on a pitcher for 3/100. Grienke is good but we have guys that can be close to him with upside making the minimum. If we take on that money then we better be getting some talent for free.

Sign Goldy to play first and move Freddie back to third. Problem solved.

If you look at AA's history in Toronto he always took on contracts as opposed to signing free agents. I can't begin to guess on a fair deal, but taking on Grienke's contract to receive value in other areas is definitely a possibility.

If they would eat enough of Greinkes contract and take back Teheran while us getting Peralta then I’d be ok with that. I wouldn’t wanna be paying Greinke more than 15 per though. Yes I know we would have to add more pieces.

Looks like a third of Greinke's contract is deferred to 2022-2026 so he is still owed $30.5 million on top of the $95.5 million for 2019-2021

Pretty sure Arizona would still be on the hook for deferred money from before he is traded.

I would think so as well. If not, then I'm sure they'd be aware they're on the hook if they plan on finding a trade partner.
