The fan last night potentially cost his team the game and series.
Well, it only applies to balls hit right near the top of the fence. And the fan likely didn't change anything ultimately because it looked like Betts was going to catch that. It could have been jarred out of his glove once he hit the fence if the fan didn't touch his glove, but he would have at least had it in his glove initially.

And it looked like the right call to me. The fans were reaching over the top of the fence and Betts wasn't at the wall yet, so it appeared that the ball was over the playing field.

He will settle in around .300-.320 just like everyone else, and when he does, he won't be within shouting distance of the 1.000 OPS he is posting in AAA...more like low .700s in 2018." -Enscheff 8/25/17

I freaking hate the Dodgers, so if they make it, go Red Sox! Hopefully the Brewers can pull off the series comeback.

So, the last two years has seen Heyward, McCann, and Gattis all win the World Series (not to mention Ross and Morton). If Kimbrel wins it this year, that means Freeman is next, right?

With the right moves, that's wouldn't really be a surprise! ;)

Yes it probably does. Cue up a Freeman trade to Cleveland or something then.

Brewers fans will boo Machado, but have no problem cheering Ryan Braun.

Don't want to pick on a cajun's looks, but Miley looks like an extra from The Dukes of Hazzard.

I hope we take notes from the Dodgers here. They really loaded up at the deadline, even aside from Machado, and didn't give up much, and players like Freese are making big contributions. If we're lucky enough to be in a playoff race next year, putting money aside for the deadline seems like an absolute must.

Ryan Braun and Josh Hader both overcoming adversity to make it to the World Series would be the best story in baseball this year.

Can’t even think of a close second.

I dunno man, I could never support Braun again. After he got caught and lied about it, he only admitted once he was forced to. I can forgive a cheater, but can't forgive one who cheats and then blatantly lies to everyone.

Don't think Cy was being too serious.

They’re both very hard workers, unlike Manny Machado.

It's almost like sports fans are biased.
