    Current bullpen.

On paper not bad, but some injury questions to some.

    CL- Viz.
    SU- O'Day, Minter.

Other options: Fried, Venters, Sobotka, Freeman, Biddle, Carle, Winkler.

It's deeper than last year to start the season but we could still use another top arm to balance it out provided the money isnt stoooopid.

I'd have Sobotka spend a bit more time in AAA to work on bringing down that walk rate.

I had him and Sobotka up top but didnt put in Venters, he's there now. Speaking of Venters, he's ARB4 next year.

Didn't we sign him for this season for $2.25m? Or are you talking about 2020?

Me too. I'd really work on Sobotka over the next calender year because I really like his upside as a high end 8th inning type of guy. He's probably my favorite arm outside of the Minter/Viz group, but I'd be patient with him.

After seeing Sobotka hold the port down at the end of last year, I think barring a disastrous spring training he's going to be on the opening day roster. His upside is too good. I think having him as a middle reliever/alternative set up man would benefit him more than starting the year in AAA. If he's wild out the gate you can always send him down, but he's going to learn much more pitching to major league batters with his repertoire than throwing past guys in AAA.

Plus, with Hernandez gone I'm just going to assume everyone else's walk-rate will come down naturally.
