I would have rather have taken one of the Florida HS arms, but we'll see. The MLB Network guys like him. I heard one say he could possibly move to CF. If that's the case, can he play there while Ender is out instead of Acuña?

Nobody knows with these kids but AA has a lot to live up to with what bridges did.

That's because he lacks experience. He's really green.

Shewmake at 21 is weird. Questions about him at shortstop. Not much power.

I can be positive about the Langeliers pick. This one sucks.

Contact hitters with low walk rates and average (Langaliers) or below-average (Shewmake) power. Weird profiles.

Can probably live with it from the former, but the latter is a real head-scratcher.

People hated how early soroka was taken and thought he could have been taken with the Riley pick, I don't remember too many hating him as a player. And people were mostly fine with Allard simply because every decent bat had already gone before him.

There is really nothing to pump one up with this pick, it's just a total wtf pick. Doesn't really make sense from a win now or win later move.

Carlos Collazo just hinted the Braves going more with analytics than trusting opinion of who scouts say is best player on board. Sounds like a winning strategy. This is just unbelievable.

With how good Bridges was, AA and the new scouting department has alot to live up too.

Langeliers is borderline. At least it sounds like he eats away the Space-Time Continuum in his spare time.

Greg Amsinger of MLB Network compared Shewmake to Ben Zobrist. Carlos Peña also of MLB Network compares him to Mickey Tettleton, some of you youngersters may have to Google him. They think he will end up in CF.

I’m assuming he might be a below slot candidate
