Let's assume they're correct on Acuna (4.1), FF (5.1), and Donaldson (4.7). That has to be the best stretch of 3 hitters in the east, right?

Probably. With Albies the Braves have a real chance of having four 4+ WAR players in 2019.

If Donaldson is only 4.7 then that means he probably spent time on the DL. If he stays healthy shouldn't he be more in line with a 5.5 to 6?

they have him projected for 107 games. which would be over 7 WAR in 162.

That’s the $23M gamble AA took.

If Albies returns to form, Donaldson stays healthy, and we acquire a quality outfielder this offseason, the Braves could end up having the scariest 1-6 in baseball. That is a lot of ifs, but none are particularly unlikely to happen. It'd be kind of ironic if we spent this whole rebuild focusing on pitching only for us to end up with one of the best offenses in baseball. Hopefully the Donaldson gamble pays off and it didn't preclude us from acquiring the OF help that we need.
