    Sure, censorship. Lol

I have have been in Twitter jail a couple times from my speech and Facebook once. I don’t think my right to free speech is under attack by either of them like your baby ass keeps trying to act
Thats because youre irrelevant and not having a platform to speak your stupidity doesnt impact your priviledged inherited life.

lol you've brought that up a lot... which part of my support of freedom is "fake"

also, I think the Dems have grounds to impeach Trump and think they should or move on. They'll do neither.

Get caught up on that and ignore the actual issue of a president abusing power

    Pretty typical

Sweet the socialists want the government to take over the internet

Can't imagine how anything can go wrong with that.

People of all political stripes get suspended from twitter, et al, every day...often for horse**** reasons. You seem to be buying into a narrative that suits your preconceptions.

And I’m honestly not sure what the remedy is except to ask some questions about why a couple of companies control what you call “the largest speech platforms.”

Youre really going to pretend its not heavily tilted against conservative voices?

My first post in this thread is that I personally see it tilted one way... but asked for examples of the other. If there are prominent leftists influences getting de-platformed, I'd love to see it, and I'll express my disapproval.

Well - you didn't answer the question.

But, are you referring to the AOL/TW deal that got approved and went through?

If youtube's sponsors want them to not monetize content, why shouldn't they? I have a blogger blog I cannot monetize because it's related to beer. Should I be pissed off about it?

US has miserable internet connection speeds. Despite being the originator of the internet. We're massively outclassed by nations like South Korea, Norway Sweden, etc. and what's more troubling is while we're hanging around the top 10 in overall, we're 30th in the world in average mobile internet speed. Which is because Verizon and AT&T own the majority of the US's wireless spectrum. Verizon and AT&T are major telecom businesses. As 2 of the 3 remaining "baby bells" they have a lot of skin in the landline/home broadband/TV game.

If you think things are great as they're running for internet, you're obtuse. Especially since what likely Pelosi wants is to repeal the FCC ruling instituted by Verizon stooge that opened up a lot of new markets that were previously blocked by ****ty laws that favored Landline giants.

I, uh, am not really sure how the right to free speech equates to the right to profit from speech.

Stripping ones means to survive has a funny way of regulating their actions.

Oooh oooh this is the part where all yall explain to me that private companies can do whatever they want, and as a libertarian I should support it.

Then I have to go through why I dont think they should, even though I agree they can.

But here we are... where massive massive speech platforms are now arbitrarily censoring people because some feelings are getting hurt. And the leftists support this entirely bc it's their political enemies taking the brunt of it.

No I support it because it's the internet. I don't post on 4chan. I avoid certain subreddits.

And those are sites with no self monetization. Site like Youtube where they pay you for content absolutely should allow people what to post and not to post.

Why doesn't youtube have different types of advertisement options available? Companies that are more open to contoversial speech/humor could be in one category. Companies that just want to advertise for ASMR videos can be in another category.
    thank you weso1!

imagine thinking there is a HUGE problem in this country cause people spreading lies and hate speech aren't being allowed do that or make money anymore from that

imagine also thinking you have a right to make money from youtube and other platforms while telling others you don't have a right to things like healthcare
