There are way more people saying Bernie's unelectable. Nobody knows. This rallying around Biden is a direct result that a lot of people within the party worry that Bernie will lose to Trump. Or maybe they are worried that he might win. Either way, it's all politics and part of the game. Biden is unimpressive and I don't look forward to having to listen to him stumble through his short list of old cliches for 4 years. Bernie's got ideas but I worry that he's too old and doesn't have the political skills or support in Washington to get anything done.

Both Joe and Bernie are too damn old to be President. If Bernie can win the nomination outright then perhaps he can bring in enough support for his revolution, but if it's a fight that plays out during the convention I think the fiasco will hurt eventual voter turnout.

I can't believe the choices are no better than Joe, Bernie and Mike Bloomfield.

I dont like Bernie but will support him if nominated. I think he has a decent chance against chosen one.

I can't get to a spot where Bernie has a chance against Trump.

I feel like there are a LOT of people that will turn out in droves to vote against Bernie.

I'd never have thought there was a scenario where Trump was looking at a second term 2 years ago.

Bernie is the one guy who can get me to actually vote for Trump.

If people felt that way Hillary would be President right now. There were plenty of people who said Obama was too extreme and unelectable. He apparently turned from a socialist to a moderate the day he left office according to Republicans.

Let's be real for a second. If you are fiscally conservative Bernie is the best choice for you? Why? Because then you actually get a fiscally conservative Congress. And unlike Democrats they arent scared to go full scorched earth policy to prevent big spending by a Democrat. With Trump you never hear anything about the trillion dollar deficits he is running. The day a Democrat wins it will become the biggest sin known to mankind. He will never get his economic policy passed. Not even with a Demkcrat super majority in Congress.

Not sure how this shakes out tonight, but 538's final forecast showed a huge surge for Biden based on new polls after the SC landslide...

Exits in Virginia show Biden outperforming 538's final forecast, which was pretty bullish for him.

Biden will do well in VA, NC, AL, TN.

I'm curious about Texas. Different demographics. Different politics. Also curious about the Senate primary there.

Btw, there is a clip going around of Bernie doing a Q&A with reporters. Having a bit of shortness of breath. Hard not to feel some compassion seeing that. Hope he's ok.

If there’s a brokered convention can’t the voters vote whomever they want? They don’t have to be a person running do they?

One thing I have to say for all these people in the race, I can't believe the stamina they have. Trump, Sanders, Biden, Bloomberg, Warren....I'm 33 and in pretty good shape and I've considered making a bed under my desk at work a la Costanza to help get through the week. I don't know how they do it when they're all 70+, some pushing 80. My grandparents are early 80's in good health and if they go to the supermarket on Tuesday, they're probably not leaving the house on Wednesday.

I think they are all extreme extroverts who draw energy from the whole campaigning business. Well not Bloomberg. He is an introvert. And it shows. Low energy. Not that this would make him (and other introverts) a worse president than the extroverts.

Yeah. I think they are all free on the second ballot. And the super delegates can vote on the second ballot.

Astonishing thing to me is the states where bernie dominated Hillary in 2016, he’s losing to Biden four years later. You’d think they’d be shoo ins for bernie

    @AdamParkhomenko

Democrats just flipped a state house seat in Maine by 15 points tonight that Trump previously carried by 8 points. Terrible news for Susan Collins.
