Like I said...we've been down this road before many times and I think you're 100% wrong. I don't think we're changing each other's minds. Enjoy pulling that lever for Biden.

    The vanity of the voter

You, like some others here , are an adult.
Being an adult translates to a constant stream of lesser of "2 evils" choices
    You know that

Biden is far from ideal. Trump is an abomination
    ..........

    1) Wm Barr -- Kavanaugh. Draconian Immigration policies. Health care, environment
Social security, Medicare and Medicade, Infraastructure. Tax policies, etc etc etc
    Air of civility
    2) Actually, it is. By voting your conscience for the policies that are your favor
These past two elections should you coumn them up, ther is quite a bit of difference.
Witness the past couple months) ---
    4) Or been charged with nepotism. Rightly or wrongly. I am suspicious the timing of the Biden accusations
    5) then what is his appeal. You could just as well vote for Stacey Abrams as a 3rd Party if that is your stance. If it is not to enact policies -- it is
nothing more than a beauty contest

I gotta go back to work

You forgot the third Choice which is to not vote. A lot of people pick that option.

like I said a vanity exercise.

On the day you get to use your voice you dont -- then come back weeks- months-years later with the attitude that what you have to say matters.
Kinda like shouting "FIRE" a day or so later.

When you had the opportunity you didnt --- and a day or so later it is meaningless.
    Just a call for attention.

I actually have more respect for opinions of the Trump voters than the Johnson,Stein or the "3rd choice" voter.
At least their action meant something. They made a choice in real time.

    Since 1960:

    Kennedy-Nixon
    Johnson-Goldwater
    Humphrey - Nixon
    Nixon- McGovern
    Ford - Carter
    Carter - Reagan
    Reagan-Mondale
    Bush-Dukakis
    Bush-Clinton
    Clinton-Dole
    Gore-Bush
    Bush-Kerry
    Obama-McCain
    Obama-Romney
    Clinton-Trump

One could argue the past 60 years the same scenario as 2020 you describe
I dont know the difference between Eisenhower and Stevenson

One is hard pressed without scratching the surface distinguishing any candidates in any election outside of 1972
Yet in each there was a subtle difference

I could find reason to not vote for anyone above.
Even McGovern. There were those that found his time in service in WWII disqualifying
    He wasnt , "pure" enough
Who the phuck is pure ?

In your tit4tat world it should be required each time mention of Hunter Biden ties there be talk of Ivanka/Jared ties to China/Ukraine/Saudi Arabia/N Korea/ etc etc etc

    This ( you) gets tedious

Those ties are due to actual business.

Hunter Biden is a worthless piece of scum (check his bio) and somehow gets paid. Nothing fishy here.

You see it that way, I think peoples refusal to vote for anything but the 2 major parties IS the problem. What we have now is just a duopoly. No matter how bad either party is they know eventually voters will come back to them. Its not my fault Biden has thumbed his nose at voters like me. Thats his choice not mine. He has 6 months to change that. I will not be a plantation voter who gives his vote to a party regardless of who they are or what they have done and will do. How has that been working out for black people? Not very well imo.

It absolutely is. This was a dude nobody knew about yesterday, and he's failed to run for Congress and the Senate a few times already.

If partisanship is so important, Romney would have gotten praised for being the lone voice in an echo chamber for his party, rather than get crucified and outcasted. MAGA nation doesn't care about bipartisanship. The right doesn't care about bipartisanship either until it's time to blame Dems.

    Just disgusting.

I knew about Vernon Jones; he was DeKalb CEO when I was in high school there. I thought he went to jail for corruption, but I guess not?

Kind of a weird move on his part. I guess he doesn't want to be re-elected; the parts of DeKalb he represents had some of most extreme anti-Trump voting in 2016.

I think he is taking the Candice Owens approach. He wants in on that marketshare Candice has tapped into and exploited.

please hold your nose and cast a vote that gets Trump away from the WH. Then we can address this.
    If not,
at the rate things are going, there may be nothing to address

people used to laugh when it was mentioned it would take 50 years to undo what Trump would do.

Good luck with the criminal justice issues you hold so dear under Trump/Barr

    JUST IN:

Trump threatens to use his constitutional power

to "adjourn" the House and Senate so that he can
    make recess appointments.

you will be lucky to be a "plantation voter" if he is re-elected
