They closed freestanding garden centers and greenhouses because those were initially deemed non-essential. So Wal-Mart had to close its garden center too. This never affected your local Harris Teeter. It certainly doesn't affect them today, since citizens using their not-cancelled 1st amendment rights complained and garden centers were quickly deemed essential and the order changed.

So I'm still waiting for an example of what mandate a grocery store needs to violate.

Your insistence on harping in on grocery stores is why we have a disconnect.

I usually enjoy our back and forth and try to get better from them.

But... the governor BANNED things she had no business banning. She closed gardening stores. Why? Why isn't that essential? Especially if you fear a food shortage coming?

Why can everyone go buy cheerios but we need to ban tomato seeds?

    Jennifer Murphy

In a world exclusive interview with Grazia, Jennifer, 37, a contestant in season 4 of The Apprentice, claims that US presidential candidate Trump – then newly married to current wife Melania – kissed her on the lips after a job interview. ‘I was very taken aback by that at the time,’ she admits.

The incident occurred in the same year Donald was filmed bragging about his treatment of ‘beautiful women’, claiming ‘I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything, grab them by the pussy’. Last week, amidst international outrage over the leaked footage, he apologised but dismissed it as ‘locker-room talk’.

Jennifer recalls: ‘He walked me to the elevator, and I said goodbye. I was thinking ‘oh, he’s going to hug me’, but when he pulled my face in and gave me a smooch. I was like “oh kay.” I didn’t know how to act. I was just a little taken aback and probably turned red. And I then I get into the elevator and thought “huh, Donald Trump just kissed me on the lips.”’

Jennifer, who plans to vote for Trump, reveals how the man she describes as her ‘mentor’ first singled her out back stage at one of his Miss USA pageants in 2004. While she didn’t win the event, Trump gave her his business card as she expressed an interest in competing in The Apprentice. A couple of months later she flew to San Diego to audition for his show which is when she next encountered him. ‘That’s when he said “Jennifer, you’re just so beautiful” and that made me turn red,’ she said. ‘It made me feel special, that Donald Trump saw things in me.’

    Jennifer on The Apprentice

Jennifer, who was fired on the sixth episode of the season’s show, tells Grazia’s Emily Phillips that immediately after this she received a call from the mogul approaching her with further employment opportunities with him.

‘The day after he fired me from the show, he called me and said, “I still want to offer you a job, because I was very impressed with you.” He said, “The producers won’t allow me to offer you a job until the day after the finale in New York, but after that I’d like to meet with you.” So I did meet with him in his office and he gave me different job offers.’ Jennifer says it was during one of these meetings in his office that he kissed her.

‘I think maybe in his mind he may have thought of me and maybe fantasised, or romantically, but I didn’t feel at the end of the day he would take action,’ she said. ‘I would hope that he would be true to his marriage, and I was also engaged at the time.’

Jennifer also claims that Trump made many on and off-screen comments on the show that would have to be edited.

‘Even when we were filming The Apprentice, he would make quite a few comments before the camera was rolling, or even when the camera was rolling, that the producers would be sure to edit out,’ she said. ‘They wouldn’t want Donald Trump’s statements to me about, “Oh have you always been this beautiful?” or “Jennifer, I would have picked you as Miss USA.” They wanted him to keep it more about business. But I will say he was always very respectful of my business acumen, even though he made a lot of statements and was very flirtatious with me.’

‘I don’t want him to ever feel I’m throwing him under the bus, because I’m not,’ she added. ‘I was surprised, but then it didn’t really bother me because I didn’t feel he was being degrading, or he was being dishonest to Melania.’

‘You can see that he gravitates towards beautiful women. I would say he would probably put his arm around a woman, or if he sees a buddy, maybe pat him on the shoulder, but that’s typical for strong, powerful men that love beautiful women. He’s very charismatic. He’s very charming in person.

‘I ended up declining his job offers, which I think took him aback,’ she continued. ‘I don’t think he was used to being turned down. He wants to have what he wants to have, but that is probably a common trait in someone that can lead big companies and can even be the president. They’re going to go for what they want and if they don’t get it, they want it that much more.’

I mean we are talking about grocery stores. Amash complained about Grocery stores. I asked about grocery stores. The fact that you wanna talk about something else is great, but it is irrelevant.

Dude, no one disagrees with this, not even the Governor of Michigan. They are deemed essential. Even when you win you still complain it is crazy.

Got it, so when Amash was talking about how going forward we should treat "local knowledge" from local grocers being more important that public health mandates, he meant Wal-Mart(!) should go be able to go back in time and have their garden center open (they were never actually banned from selling seeds, or course) for the two weeks it was closed a month ago.

Well, I'm convinced by that absolute non-problem.

    Juiette Huddy

A former Fox News anchorwoman who accused Bill O’Reilly of sexually harassing her in 2011 is now claiming that Donald Trump kissed her on the lips in an elevator.

Juliet Huddy said Thursday morning on the “Mornin!!! With Bill Schulz” podcast (which has a paywall) that it happened around 2005 or 2006 when Trump was hosting “The Apprentice” on NBC.

“He took me to lunch in Trump Tower,” she said. “He said goodbye to me in an elevator while his security guy was there.

“He went to say goodbye and he, rather than kiss me on the cheek, he leaned in on the lips.”

Huddy, whom Trump knew because she co-hosted “Fox & Friends” on the weekends, said she assumed Trump’s lip kiss was just confusion: “Oh, we went the wrong way,” she said.

She also said she wasn’t offended. “I thought, ‘This is interesting.’”

It should be noted that this was her expression on the show when she said that:

Huddy said she was surprised he went for her lips but “didn’t feel threatened.” In fact, she brought a friend back to Trump Tower so that the future president could give them a tour of “The Apprentice” set.

Huddy believes Trump was single at the time, and, after checking the math, host Bill Schulz said it was possible he wasn’t engaged to Melania Trump at the time of the kiss.

She says Trump referenced the kiss when he was Huddy’s guest on her syndicated series, “The Morning Show With Mike and Juliet.”

“He came up on stage and he turned around to the audience ― and, you know, there were 50 people there ― and he said, ‘I tried to hit on her, but she blew me off,’” Huddy remembered.

Huddy emphasized that at the time she wasn’t offended that he kissed her but that she has a different perspective now.

“Now that I’ve matured, I would’ve said, ‘Nope.’ At that time, I was making excuses.”

HuffPost reached out to the White House for comment, but it did not immediately respond. Huddy commented further on Twitter on Friday evening after the New York Post picked up the story.

    Jessica Drake

The Daily Beast was informed late Friday that porn star Jessica Drake is not allowed to discuss President Donald J. Trump on account of a non-disclosure agreement she signed barring her from any such talk. NDAs are often deployed as part of settlements to silence accusers.

“Jessica’s NDA blankets any and every mention of Trump, so she’s legally unable to comment,” her publicist, Josh Ortiz, informed The Daily Beast. “Jessica signed a non-disclosure agreement after her allegations of misconduct, and she can’t do as much as peep his name publicly.”

On Saturday evening, following the initial publication of this story, Ortiz radically changed his tune.

“I made an incorrect assumption due to a grave misunderstanding regarding Jessica Drake’s ability to speak or comment about matters relating to President Trump," Ortiz said in a statement supplied by Drake's lawyer, Gloria Allred. “I have never been told directly, or indirectly, Jessica Drake signed a Non Disclosure Agreement or reached any settlement in regards to any interactions with President Trump. My misunderstanding resulted in incorrect information being provided to The Daily Beast and undue stress to Jessica Drake, for which I am truly sorry.”

BuzzFeed, citing an unnamed source, reported on Saturday that “Drake could not talk about Trump, but was unable to confirm if that was because of a non-disclosure or some other agreement.”

The White House has not yet responded to requests for comment.

In late October 2016, Drake became the 14th woman to accuse then-candidate Trump of sexual misconduct. At a public press conference, Drake, flanked by her attorney Gloria Allred, claimed that after she met Trump in July 2006 at Nevada’s American Century Celebrity Golf Championship, where she was working a promotional booth on behalf of the adult film company Wicked Pictures, he made a pass at her. Trump’s wife, Melania, had recently given birth to their son Barron at the time.

[Trump] flirted with me and invited me to walk along the golf course with him, which I did. During that time, he asked me for my phone number, which I gave to him. Later that evening, he invited me to his room. I said I didn't feel right going alone, so two other women came with me,” said Drake in prepared remarks.

“When we entered the room, he grabbed each of us tightly in a hug and kissed each one of us without asking permission,” Drake continued. “He was wearing pajamas. A bodyguard was also present. He asked me about details on my job as an adult film star—about shooting porn, and he also asked us about our personal relationships and whether we were married or single. We answered his questions. It felt like an interview. About 30 or 45 minutes later, we left his room.”

She alleged that Trump later called her and asked, “'What do you want? How much?” and then offered her $10,000 for sex. “This is not acceptable behavior for anyone, much less a presidential candidate,” Drake said at the presser.

The Drake NDA news comes on the heels of a Friday report in The Wall Street Journal that President Donald J. Trump’s longtime lawyer, Michael Cohen, had arranged a $130,000 payment to porn star Stormy Daniels “as part of an agreement that precluded her from publicly discussing an alleged sexual encounter with Mr. Trump.”

Daniels (birth name: Stephanie Clifford) is alleged to have been in talks with ABC’s Good Morning America about going public with her story just prior to the presidential election. The Daily Beast had also pursued an interview with Daniels for several months prior to the election after three sources confirmed that she and Trump had had a curious encounter. She finally backed out on Nov. 3, just five days before the election.

One of those sources, porn star Alana Evans, said that after Daniels met Trump in July 2006 at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship—the very same golf tournament that Drake alleges she met Trump—she and Trump invited Evans to their hotel to “have some fun.” The following day, Daniels confided in Evans—her neighbor and close friend at the time—that “I ended up with Donald in his hotel room. Picture him chasing me around his hotel room in his tighty-whities.”

Cohen provided the following statement to The Daily Beast: “These rumors have circulated time and again since 2011. President Trump once again vehemently denies any such occurrence as has Ms. Daniels.” In addition, he provided a letter dated Jan. 10, 2018, allegedly signed by Daniels, that denied any “sexual and/or romantic affair” with Trump as well as the receipt of any “hush money” from Trump. Daniels could not be reached for further comment.

Around the time Drake came forward, then-candidate Trump issued a vow of revenge, threatening to sue every woman who came forward to accuse him of sexual misconduct. “Every woman lied when they came forward to hurt my campaign,” Trump announced at a rally in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on Oct. 22, 2016. “Total fabrication. The events never happened. Never. All of these liars will be sued after the election is over.”

Thus far, he has not sued a single one.
