Yeah, we have a lot of neighbors with nationalized energy sectors. One to our immediate north, actually. Lots of non-near neighbors, too. Always Venezuela, never Norway. Wonder why?

Well, the US is 65 times the size of Norway for starters... You frequently bring up other countries that are smaller than Wisconsin as proof of how easily we can radically transform the largest economy in the world (wonder how we got to be that, by the way...)
Mexico and Venezuela are more comparable sized examples.
The Green New Deal calls for the elimination of 88% of our current US energy supply within 11 years, without using nuclear energy.
bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
The US is the only major country who is actually reducing our carbon emissions. Allowing the government to ban private automobiles (as the Green New Deal calls for) won't make a dent - I'll emphasize this point - won't make a dent in global carbon emissions. Because the Green New Deal can't force China and India to change their ways.
But at least it can bankrupt our country! And maybe the world will end in 13 years instead of 12?

But since you brought up Norway, I did a quick look at how they're tracking to their Paris Climate agreement promise they made that the US died from pulling out of. They're only on pace to miss their target goal by 84%
US is 65 times the size of Norway?
well, i have bad news to compare Israel to the US for a stupid wall then

The veil is off now with the democrats. Thry fully support socialism when they tried to assure people for decades it was about putting a check on capitalism. The same is now happening with guns but we will be called conspiracy nuts if we say the left wants to abolish the second amendment.
I think what we’re seeing is the crazy bringing out the crazy. People are so upset with Trump that it’s provoking the opposite reaction. I really don’t want the rule of the 30 percent on either side of the aisle. I think Biden is our best shot.
Is it the 30% ?
The issues have been boiler plate (D) since the 1930-40s.
The cloud of " electability" has, skewed the perception of the possible.
Using the Green New Deal as one example, President Carter had solar panels on the White House roof in the 1970s.
If it affordable college for all, it was granted in the GI Bill in the late 40s.
I really think a little historical perspective needs to be employed in making such a sweeping statement
We seem to have lost the politics of the possible .
i can't wait for the president to call a fake emergency, the republicans go along with it and open pandoras box with that power
so a democrat can call a national emergency on guns and climate change
it's gonna be awesome
and both are actually more an emergency than this stupid wall

I remember when you threw a **** fit over a tax cut that cost $2t over 10 years, and if renewed, would be $9t over 30 years.
You demanded to know how we're paying for it. I remember.
Fast forward to today.
M4A conservatively costs $32T over 10 years, and grows to $170t over 30 years.
Yet we cant talk about paying for that, can we?
CBO says raising $32T would require 35% payroll tax (today it is 6), or a 82% national sales tax.
Ready to support sell that too the people?
what would the cost be if we do nothing different at all?
i remember one of the plans would make it less than if we did nothing at all and kept the same course

Why do we think Bernie didn't include Asian men, who out earn all demographics?
Bc I guess it's only ok to attack white men
So far every democrat to announce their run for President have strongly supported legal marijuana. Its looking like democrats are actually planning for it to be a big campaign issue. From what I have heard they are afraid of pushing for it now because if Trump doesnt block it he will take credit for it in 2020. I have even seen speculation that Trump will legalize it if it starts to make him look bad during his reelection campaign. I think we are in the home stretch fellas. I might just quit when its legal just to spite them.

You dont understand the impact of marijuana prohibition if you dont think its a big issue. Tens of millions of people smoke marijuana, I would guess its pretty high on their priority list too.
