There is a percentage of Sanders supporters who will not vote for Biden in the general election and vice versa. That's baked into the polling. Let the chips fall where they may.

I cant compete with the intelligence of James Carville who supported Michael Bennet for this nomination process. Clearly he is political nostradamus.
Dont be naive enough to think their opinions are based on Bernies chances to win and not their own interests. Atleast pick people who arent jokes. Chris Matthew's especially is a joke.

At this point, a Biden nomination is basically guaranteeing a Trump win, imo. Biden is so dislikable.
Wait a second. I know whats going on here. They are going to try and shove Hillary down our throats again. Heres how I see it going down. Bloomberg says well if you dont want me then how about Hillary with Bloomberg as VP. He will sell it as he can commit a billion dollars or two and Hillary who hasnt been running hasnt exhausted any fundraising sources. She could raise 100 million in the first week of entering the race and probably bring in a billion overall. If there is a hell I bet its going to be forcing me to watch Hillary/Bloomberg and Trump/Pence ads over and over again.

Klobuchar bows out and endorses Biden
Mayor Pete to endorse Biden as well

people are assuming , based on MSM reporting fed by Bloomberg and Biden campaigns, that as candidates leave their voters will automatically go to Biden.
My reading tells me this isn't necessarily the case.
Tomorrow will be interesting

Obviously the donors want him out to help Biden and Warren to stop Bernie,
but a new morning consult poll says most Pete voters second choice is Sanders.
Keep knocking
………..
Following a number of twitter feeds from all angles, I am reading voters left by candidates are declaring for Sanders
Have yet to see a person give support to Biden. Lots of reports of bosses but, no individuals

The best way to stop a bad guy with a gun is to make sure he doesn’t get a gun.
The most likely outcome is these voters will spread to different candidates in a different mix depending on the state. It’s too reductive to assume the lot of them will flock to Bernie or Biden.
What will result is more candidates reach the 15% threshold across different states, which increases the “no majority” outcome. Bloomberg obviously wont endorse Bernie when he drops out and I am skeptical if Liz would. And it’s obvious (D) will move heaven and hell to stop Bernie in a brokered convention.
Bernie is probably still a slight favorite, but he needs to perform really well ST. If Biden seizes momentum, I don’t see a path for Bernie to comeback.
I don’t think candidates rank order their choices by ideology, so to an extent, I agree
But ultimately I trust a place like 538 over Twitter anecdotes...after Amy and Pete dropping out, they have the chance of no one gaining a majority of deligates up to almost 70%, and that increase has come at the expense of Sanders
With no winner-take-all and no super delegates (for the first round), I think the odds of no one reaching 50% at the end of the primaries has been higher than realized from the start.
When you have a large field winner-take-all can produce some surprising results (as we saw with the GOP in 2016). I read today that chosen one is the first elected president who did not win a majority of votes in the primaries or the majority of votes in the general election.

The rumor I am hearing is Warren cut a deal with Biden to be his VP. In exchange she is going to stay in the face till the convention to help ensure Bernie doesnt get enough delegates on the first ballot. Maybe she can write the sequel to Hillary's "what happened" when Biden loses in a landslide.
