If the riot/statues story dies down, I see no route for POTUS to take for a win. I certainly could be wrong, but the only hope I'd see for the Rs is to somehow not have POTUS as the nominee.

Neither candidate is all there. The difference is Biden knows he is declining where as Trump thinks he is the smartest guy in the history of ever. Biden will listen to his advisers whereas Trump spends more of his intelligence briefings "briefing" his advisor instead of the other way around.
