i love a good "this is why we have the 2nd amendment" comment
but i'm always curious when they will agree that killing cops and military etc is ok with that 2nd amendment usage
always seems to come up way short of supporting those that the 2nd amendment would be used against for some reason

Nor do the people of Flint, Michigan
Still no safe drinking water
Capitalism, democracy etc aint worth **** if you cant drink the water
the continued use of venezuela as "see socialism doesn't work" while overlooking the democratic socialism countries that are happening through europe that people actually want to be like is hilarious
i know, it doesn't fit your narrative
thus why it doesn't happen
also known as being intellectually dishonest
like trump, **** Maduro

by your definition/post
you could make an easy argument that the people should turn the guns on cops in this country right now
thus why i don't believe any 2nd amendment advocate that just throws out the "this is why we have the 2nd amendment"

Even the post says biden lied.
I always enjoy how the left comes up with new terms when the old labels become unpopular. “Liberal” isn’t working so let’s call ourselves “progressives.” “Socialism” is ugly so let’s slap “democratic” before it to soften the blow. There’s never any meaningful definitions for the distinctions between these terms, it’s just marketing.
i really don't care what you want to call it honestly
i would like for us to be more like european countries on that scale and not venezuela or cuba

The splinter group Democratic Socialists of America has been around since the 1980s. I used to know the Minnesota state director for the group. It's nothing new. They were Ocasio-Cortez before Ocasio-Cortez was born. They were Bernie bros when Bernie was the Mayor of Burlington.
There gets to be this meme that there is no way that socialism (or broad-based initiatives where public dollars are spent on making benefits more widely available to the general public) can be democratic; that the terms are somehow mutually exclusive. That simply isn't the case. I'm not a full-blown socialist, but I really get tired of this image that the country is going socialist and the only apparel available for sale will be powder blue jumpsuits and everyone will subsist on a diet of stale Wheat Chex.
Western Europe, for all its problems, has used higher tax rates to provide a broader base of programs to address what those societies view as basic human needs. There is clearly tension in those countries now, but most of that tension is fueled by the belief that immigrants are coming to their countries to soak up the benefits of the expansive safety net. The right-wingers in Denmark hate immigrants, but they love the state-run health care program. I could be wrong, but I've never heard Marie Le Pen say "Elect me and I will dismantle France's state-run health care program."
Given the trajectory of the past few decades, I doubt we will ever see a dramatic move toward the level of public investment of Western Europe. Americans have simply lost sight of the fact that if you want something, you have to pay for it. The Trump/Congressional agreement on infrastructure will likely die the minute someone suggests that it won't be free to Americans and that the gas tax (at either the federal or state levels) or some other funding mechanism will have to either be raised or created to cover the costs.

Kirsten Gillibrand’s idea to have super duper millionaires subsidize us all to the tune of $600 so we can then donate the money to the parasitic politicians of our choosing is almost as bad and offensive as the video she tweeted showing herself playing beer pong with water.
