I loved watching him play. Got to see the final two games of the '66 series vs LA which were both won 1-0 by Baltimore on solo HRs and Frank Robinson hit the one in the final game. He was a great player, and baseball man. RIP Mr Robinson.
Interesting for me is that I also had tickets to game five and Koufax I think was scheduled to pitch. Game was never played, thanks to Frank, and Koufax retired. Likely would have been his last game.
All-time great and a pioneer in many ways.

It was a different era and so much has changed. Frank had a closed stance and darn near stood on the plate without the armor some guys wear now. He dared pitchers to come inside and more than a few of them accepted the challenge, but Frank never backed down.
