I won’t have an opinion on Anderson until I see him again. It has been two years since I saw him the few times I got to. But back then he looked great. His FB had movement.

I think y'all think I'm more down on Anderson than I am. Saying he's a future number 3 starter isn't an insult. TOR arms are rare and I just don't see Anderson having that level of stuff.

I didn't like taking him at 3 but that first round of that draft has turned out to be pretty terrible so I've relaxed on that a bit. Senzel going second ruined things.

Wilson is FA, SL, CH. No sinker to be found in his small amount of MLB data.

    The FA is pretty flat.

He had it in the minors. Unless the crappy minor league tv broadcast had me looking at a slider. But everything he threw was sinking pretty much. He showed a hard straight fb but everything else dipped down. More straight down like a sinker

I have looked at the stat cast on him. He only has like 100 pitches in the MLB.

Based on the movement, or lack thereof, on the FA so far, he might be better served with a SI. The 100 pitches he’s thrown at the MLB isn’t really enough to make any sweeping judgements yet.

I guess I could be wrong. Maybe what I remember seeing wasn’t what I saw.

Pretty sure I remember comments in a FG chat suggesting Wilson ditched the SI in favor of his FA so he could go right after hitters with his bulldog mentality...or something equally as silly.

You can look up my breakdown of his stuff, but a FA at 95 with 7” of rise isn’t stellar, and I don’t remember his breaking stuff being remarkable either. I’m not very high on Wilson.
