Gotta like Wright and touki today. Hopefully this is the year some of these pitching prospects put it all together

Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...
Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

The cream is starting to rise to the top. After seeing Anderson and not being impressed at all, and seeing Newk continue to walk everyone in sight, it seems like the long term SPs are (health permitting, obviously) Soroka, Wright, and probably Touki (though he still carries some BP risk).
The Braves need a ~12 win rotation to be truly competitive, and I think they are probably there once the rotation consists of Folty, Gaus, Wright, Soroka and some combo of Touki/Fried/Newk/Wilson/Anderson/Gohara to fill it out.

It’s funny that one month ago Wright and Pache (along with Riley), were thought to be the more expendable. Now a month later if we made the JTR trade that included Wright and Pache...we would be literally sick. Back then ...many would have thought that was a fair price.
The thing about prospects is that it’s a gamble. There is always the right time to pull the trigger for the right addition. So many of our prospects have risen so fast at such a young age, it makes the gamble far greater.
AA made the right choice. Some of these guys won’t make it, some will be stars. It would be a shame to accidentally trade away the one or two stars to add a “decent” piece. We have suffered too many years for that.
