Excited to settle in and listen on radio to the soothing tones of...

Per radio, Wright was 94-6 on the gun and actually touched 100 with a pitch (who knows if that was real). Walked the leadoff batter and then punched out two and got a ground out.

He's our second best pitching prospect after Fried. Don't @ me.

Against a weak line up. But regardless, he has a lot of upside and i'm excited to watch him grow

Personally, i'd rather go with a rotation of Newk, Gaus, Teheran, Freid to start the season with Wright getting some more seasoning. But once he gets a few starts in AAA, he'd be the first guy up to get a start

I’ve maintained Wright is the best pitching prospect in the system for a while now (I no longer consider Soroka a prospect). If this competition is truly a straight up competition (meaning no service considerations) then Wright has to be the front runner for Folty’s rotation spot right now.

If Snit can figure out how to get a .350+ OBP in front of the hydra this lineup could be very productive.
