Yeah they didn't have a great staff to begin with, but all of their starters have missed time due to injury (they currently have 3 on the IL). Depth was a big issue for them, but even still, it's hard to overcome that many injuries. Even with all of our pitching depth, we struggled ourselves at the start of the year when we had 3 starters open the year on the IL.
Love that the sand fleas are playing well. So much more enjoyable When we crush their hopes and dreams

Deb this key for all the teams in the league. Those that have it usually when those two don’t really make it through 162 games. The Braves Depp was severely tested this year just look at our pen from now to the beginning of the year. Look at our starters Look at all the injuries we’ve had to deal with

The Brewers were snake bitten this year with injuries. Their bullpen took a beating and they didn’t have strong starting pitching to begin with. I think Aguilar falling off hurt their offense although that was easy to see happening in the second half last year. Lorenzo Cain has been pretty bad too and when a table setter like that isn’t doing his job it hurts everyone.
It was a quick voice to text while walking to a meeting. Looks like my 10 year old posted it. Won’t post and walk again.
Basically depth is important for all teams. Those that have it win. Those that don’t can’t make it 162 games successfully. Braves have it and it was tested.

I agree, the production of Pirates of the Caribbean 6 is a microcosm of life in the social media age, good point.
Former major leaguers Octavio Dotel and Luis Castillo (the former Marlins 2B) have been implicated in a major Dominican drug ring.

DOB:
#Braves’ Dansby Swanson will begin a rehab assignment Thursday at Single-A Rome, will DH first and then work his way up with increasing innings in the field for a few games, could be activated after that. Riley will follow similar schedule beginning with DH’ing Friday at Rome.
Here it is: Darren O’Day is scheduled to pitch in a Gulf Coast Rookie League game Saturday and could be added to #Braves’ expanded roster in September. Has been out all season with forearm injury after hamstring surgery in 2018.

Bold prediction: O'Day becomes a contributor in the playoffs
Did anyone ever read about Luiz Gohara signing with another team? Can't find any info on that.

I’d laugh if, somehow after nearly two years of being out of the game, he magically came back and was the O’Day who was with the Orioles. Because if that happened, he’d instantly be the best pitcher in the bullpen. It would make for a hell of a story.
No chance it happens though.
