He can then pitch game 2 on regular rest and game 5 if necessary on regular rest. It precludes extra rest which helps at this point of the season.

They’re playing like champs who want to win in the postseason. The Braves should take note.

Maddon not returning to the Cubs. Wouldn’t mind him as a Snit replacement.
Why should we replace the back to back manager of the year?
Highly doubt Snit gets replaced, but if we go one and done, i think/hope AA will talk to Snit about resting the starters more often. He should either way regardless. If/when we replace Snit, i think AA will look for a young, analytical type of manager.
Honestly, I really like our overall coaching staff.....EY Jr, Washington, Weiss, and Snit make up a very good team.
