Maikel Franco has the same problem. Bad hair, and bad at baseball. What a terrific rebuild.

Having watched Andy MacPhail up here in Minnesota for a number of years, I'm not that surprised. He was in the GM's chair when the Twins won in 1987 and 1991, but the 1987 team was built by someone else and the 1991 team benefited from the fact that the guys he was pursuing turned him down and the guys he ended up signing all had great years. If MacPhail had a different last name, he'd be an insurance salesman.

MacPhail’s Actuariails has a nice ring to it.

How stupid does everyone look that wouldn’t give my GT buddy Derek Dietrich a guaranteed contract this winter?
17 Bombs and counting.Seems with some of the other scrubs on MLB benches that someone would have found a spot for him besides a minor league deal with a chance to earn a spot which he did.
I know he wanted to be in Atlanta but was told they didn’t have room for him.Maybe we can find a spot for him next year although he may have earned a little better contract for what he’s doing this season.
Happy for him and amazed he went so long without finding a team willing to give him a spot after he’s shown he can be a great utility piece.

When I was in college at Arkansas (late 80's - early 90's), this place in Conway, AR had a big sign alongside I-40. I think it made it on David Letterman once.

No telling how many truckers with limited reading skills stopped in looking for "enhancement" in the pre-Viagra days.

That pitch looks like shoulder/elbow surgery to me.

That stuff is why we either sit in the outfield or behind the screen. I don't understand why the screens haven't been extended waaaay down the lines to prevent this.
