As long a one of Folty/Gausman come back healthy and effective I think we are clearly the better regular season team. But, when you get into a playoff format and you have to face Scherzer twice in 5/7 games - That gets dicey.

The Nats are probably a little better than the Braves, but my money is on the team with a big lead in the division.

The Braves have been about 3 games lucky so far, but those wins count. The Nats have a lot of ground to make up, the Braves are also very good, and have the resources to add significant pieces.

Those comments about the Nats being dead in July were pure idiocy, but the Braves are still the heavy favorite right now.

I agree. Nats have won a lot in the playoffs with max.

I've come to really like your dislike of the nats.

Small sample size of course and he is still Sherzer. They will be favored in every game he starts.

I still don't think the Nats are quite that good. Good enough to make one of the WCs, but I just don't see them as more than a 86 win team.

When you can throw one of Corbin/Stras/Max every 3/5 days as well as a solid #4 in Sanchez, you're gonna have a chance to win alot of games.

Nats are probably better suited for a playoff series, Braves maybe for 162, lot of games left, we'll see.

They probably have the best chance of anyone to beat them in a series in the NL.

    Max/Stras/Corbin can matchup with Ryu/Buehler/Kershaw.

I’m not real sure about that. While I agree that their pitching is really good there’s a lot of places to go in that lineup to get outs. Their bench is really weak as well.

Giles not warming up and they have a 2-0 lead over the Yankees in the 9th.

Are he and Stroman getting on a plane?
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

Gomes/Zuk, Adams, Kendrick/Dozier, Turner, Rendon, Soto, Robles, Eaton. It's not the Yankees or Astros lineup but it's not exactly an easy lineup to navigate through.

I’d take my chances with Robles either of their catchers especially Gomes Eaton Adams or Dozier.

I'd take the dodgers against max more than the Nats against ryu.
