Yeah doubt it has anything to do with rookies playing their first games of the season after making the big league club out of camp the first time and being amped up

Sure wish the Phillies would hang something out over the plate to one of our hitters.

I’m sure walking people is part of the teams philosophy. Where do some of you even come up with this stuff?

6 won’t win this. Need to stop them from scoring.

Well you know how you avoid that? Sign some fckn veteran serviceable relievers.

What goes around comes around...AA chose to do nothing with the pitching as he trusted the guys he had...then wham, two of the trustworthy ones got hurt.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

Or they settle down after those first few outings and end up being better than said veterans? You’re right though... veterans never walk anyone.

Oh wait, Kimbrel walked 4.48 per 9 last year... whoops

Carle and Jackson have always been trash. My post had nothing to do with them. Teheran was fine his first outing

This roster looks like what the roster should look like in November, not April. Such a failure of an offseason.

He had a lot going for him going into the offseason. He did so little.

And he missed them. At $142,000 per game you expect a hitter to drive hangers even if they are caught.
