AA is bad at building a baseball team.

Because they aren’t good pitchers. It’s really that simple. Luke Jackson wouldn’t be on any other major league roster.

Mix in the fact this organizations inability to successfully develop a TOR type pitcher is quite worrisome.

The walks are obviously bad for achieving baseball success, but theyre also bad from an entertainment perspective.

    Just so boring

Problem is more likely the pitchers themselves.

The previous regime wen literally all in on acquiring very risky pitching assets and so far I don't think it's paid off at all

I tend to agree, which is why I’m so mad that AA is so bullish on trading these guys. I get being a bit worried, but it’s ludicrous that he obviously evaluates these guys the same.

Also, this dumbass team just gave Harper another homer. Just learn to freaking pitch.

The Phillies have destroyed us. Sure we're not at full strength, but pressure is mounting on AA. Fans have been restless and this is AA has to feeling pressure really early. He may do something dumb

I think that was what McCann was trying to tell the HP umpire.

And our current one is hell bent on not cashing in any of those chips.

Add in Minter (soon!) and Kimbrel and we’ve got a solid pen. It’s easy as that, honestly.

This honestly is a lot like the Cubs icy game from last year, the pitchers for the team have poor command but it apparently turns into A ball caliber command for the whole team when it's cold.

Edit: And yes, I think the command today has been a lot worse.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
