I guess it wasn’t all Chuck Hernandez. These guys aren’t MLB pitchers. Ridiculous

I know he isn’t. But he’s got some of the worst command I’ve ever seen. And it’s a shame because he may have the best stuff on the staff.

There’s no way in hell that not walking people is part of this organization’s pitching philosophy lol

There’s something wrong in the Braves pitcher development department.

how is putting up a 2 war season really bad? he’s been a backend guy but he’s been serviceable and will probably continue to be.

I can see why people think he is. His strikes seem to always be in good spots

Been shouting that for over a decade now...we haven’t developed a legit pitcher since Glavine...or Smoltz.

I guess you can kind of say Folty...

Now that's going too far. May not have developed an ace but there have been guys that developed since. The last mainly Braves guy was Alex Wood though (but on the other hand he seemed ready out of the box for the most part), Folty would count but he also had a lot of time in Houston.

Picking mostly big risk arms isn't a great idea.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.

Teheran was good before the rebuild ruined him. Tommy Hansen was pretty damn good. Alex Wood before we dealt him for nothing. Beachy/Medlen/Minor were good before injuries.
