This turns out to be a strange segue, but last night was the 5th time in 6 games we've been on national TV. It took us til June to get 5 games on national TV last year. Funny how a playoff appearance will do that.

I can't believe I'm the only one that missed most of the 7th inning with a blank screen, it must have been DIRECTVs fault because Fox Sports Southeast never mentioned any technical difficulties but I DVR'd the replay and checked this morning and it just showed commercials from the end of the sixth until the bottom of the 7th with Mac batting instead of the blank screen.

Carle had a high workload last night and Tomlin is the long reliever that will take the bullet when a starter is knocked out of the game in the third.

Carle has options, and threw 2 innings last night. Jackson is out of options and has been better since Opening Day.

And as striker said, when one of our starters gets lit up early, Tomlin will have to save the bullpen.
