Kinda surprised Nats didnt lock him up, but he's a Boras client, so maybe Boras wants him in free agency.

But yeah, he's gonna get paid.

The emotional state of a Faillie the last 24 hours. Up 6-1 thinking they are the best team ever. Then Nola gets rock. Pen collapsed. The unstoppable offense stopped. And now today complete melt down and about to lose some possession of first. Offense still not scoring.

I think they tried but weren't offering enough. After what Machado and Nolan got you gotta think he is going to get a high AAV.

I feel this is a team that's going to have to rely on their offense. IMO their pitching will overall take a step back from last year. And while they aren't dead last in early DRS numbers they still are -3 so far so that isnt going to help in any way.

Getting Hoskins back to first helped but they aren’t great like you said. I questioned them not addressing pitching depth in both starters and pen. They don’t have anyone to give guys a breather when the dog days hit. Curious to see how they handle the deadline with a weakened farm.

True. But I doubt Washington let's him leave. They have the money to keep him with Bryce out of town.

On the other hand, I wouldn't be opposed to re-upping with Donaldson for 3 years (assuming he'd do that).

That would put him at his age 34-36 seasons, awfully risky to do.

They have alot of BP arms, but the rotation if they suffer injuries will be what hurts the most. Where not having Sixto hurts, he could be called up to help them in said scenario.

I'm not even sure who their best rotation arm in their farm is, maybe Medina. Or they just use some of their money for Keuchel, i guess.

Having arms in the pen and having quality arms is vastly different. Right now the Faillies pen has not been great. Not nationals bad but I have seen some leaks that will get bigger as summer goes along.

I get updates from my family there on almost a daily basis. First time back home since January. I can already feel the humidity just thinking about it.

Would be sole possession if not for Snitkers bunt obsession with Daniel.

#Braves pushed back all their starters with today’s snow-out, so Gausman starts Thursday’s homestand opener.

Does this mean they're gonna skip Tehearn? *crosses fingers*
