Either that or smart use of the IL10 like with Sam Freeman. Make him a long relief man (innings eater) is about the only other thing you can do. We could have Simba and Swanson one at 3B and one at SS and used Donaldson’s boatload of cash to upgrade RF!

He hasn't played in a full season of games yet but he really looks like he can be a generational talent. His approach at the plate seemingly gets better every day.

A look at his stats shows he was optioned in 2017.
When were his other options used?

Yeah, I think you're reading it backwards. He hasn't had any options used according to that, so he's got them left. All of the options are blank for him, whereas other players have the years listed where options were used
