Soroka lost some velocity as the game went on but still sat 93-94 for the game, got a ton of whiffs on the fastball (15%) because he can place it, slider got 11 called or swinging strikes in 30, and the change got 6 in 15. Great start, he’s the best bet to stick in that rotation.
We already knew Soroka was the best bet in the system to be a SP long term for the last 2+ years. That's why the shoulder issues were particularly upsetting.
