It's weird not being pumped about an incredible comeback because you just assume the pen is going to blow it in the 9th.

I don't believe it. Minter has a 1-2-3 9th inning with 3 Ks

Had ‘em the whole way!
2005: Literally Baltimore game 2.0. Andruw hit a walkoff against the Orioles who had the best record in the league coming in. I was at that game and the ball landed right in front of me.
2010: Brooks Conrad GS vs Reds
2012: 9-0 comeback in Washington? Or Chipper’s walk-off homer off Papelbon in September.
2013: The 3 run comeback in the 9th in the 3rd series of the season in Washington is the only one it could be. Capped by Ramiro Pena’s go ahead bomb. Braves made a mockery of the NL East that year. It was never in doubt.
That reminded me of rallying from 9 runs down to win at the Nationals 11-10 in extra innings on Paul Janish‘s bloop single in the 11th inning in 2012, I also remember someone hitting a huge HR in the RF bullpen but can’t remember who it was.

Wow what a comeback! Hopefully this starts a long winning streak!
What just happened?
Hat tip to Carle in relief for going as long as he did without giving up anymore runs. No chance of a comeback otherwise. Hopefully that gets him on track.
