I am concerned for the safety of some of our posters when Fried gets shelled in one of his outings. He is still young and growing in his potential. I expect a good year from him but he will most certainly fall from this elite status before this year is over. I more excited what he becomes next year and the year after.

As I said in the GDT, I will just appreciate watching Fried dominate like this as long as he can until he gets the inevitable 2nd TJ.

All pitchers get shelled sometimes (see deGrom, Scherzer, Nola, etc.), I think everyone here understands that except @thethe.

When Fried’s unsustainable rate stats start to normalize we will have a lot of very confused posters despite the fact we have the same discussion every single season.

Gausman is the pitcher who seems to be taking a big step forward. Wouldn't be surprised to see him have a career season.

Could he be a flip candidate in the offseason?

I feel like we’ll probably extend him or Folty. I think some of the young guys would have to step up big time for us to trade one early though.
