This is already the seventh time Rome and Kannapolis have played in Rome's first 23 games.

Florida won its first two games, but has currently lost 11 of its last 13. BUT only one rainout so far!

When I was doing these for the Scout website Florida had so many rainouts! I would be cruising right along late at night updating the post and get to Florida and either have an easy night (rainout) or double duty, it could get really frustrating. Just move our Florida team to Greenville and the Red Sox farm team somewhere else but what do I know? I just miss the glory days of the Greenville Braves.

Riley with 5th HR. Maybe we should play him in lf at Gwinnett. If ender keeps struggling, there might be a spot there

Lots of reason to believe Riley could be a 3 WAR player. His minor league career has been inpressive

Demeritte with a triple today as well. He has quietly improved the past two years to now playing his way into a useful util piece while he is in pre arb.

The team will be in Sarasota next season when the new training complex and field are ready.
