Steve Scalise is complaining about due process. He represents the state with the highest incarceration rate than in the world. A state that requires only 10 out of 12 jurors to vote guilty on a felony charge to convict. Remember those consent decrees that his AG Sessions told police to ignore? Well, one of the things they barred from doing that they were using before was a thing called investigative hold where they can hold you in a cell with no bathroom, no toilet, for 7 days without seeing a judge.
