Now guiliani isn't tied to Trump? This is absurd. At this time, for better or for worse, everyone knows that Trump uses Giuliani for all sorts of matters. To pretend like that is not the world we live in is willful ignorance. Vin was providing advice on how to deal with an agent of the president. He has no authority to do that

From an official policy standpoint, hell no he isn't. Giuliani is not a representative of the US and our government. There is nothing that should be discussed with Guillani that shouldn't go through official channels, unless Trump was purposely trying to avoid official channels because he knew what he was doing was wrong.

The Presidents personal lawyer has no place conducting foreign policy. Considering Vindman knew Giuliani was trying to commit a crime I think its wholly appropriate for him to advise "the" Ukraine on how to navigate that. They asked him, he didn't volunteer. His literal job is talking to the Ukranians.




That you see something wrong with Vindman and not what Trump has done is mind blowingly partisan. We are at the point where if this was Clinton's impeachment he would be pointing to the cum stained dress as exonerating evidence.

Vindman said the reference to Burisma was by the Ukranian President but that Trump also stated he believed there to be a recording of Joe Biden
regarding Ukranian corruption. My guess is he is referring to the video of Biden telling how he leverages aid to get the corrupt prosecutor removed who Republican, Democrats, the EU, and IMF also wanted removed.

What you’re saying is that the President’s personal attorney, who has no role in the government, but does apparently have an extensive client list of overseas interests, should be given deference by actual career public servants. We know who’s paying the diplomats and service members. We don’t know who’s paying Rudy.

I disagree on the relevance of Giuliani. The impeachment is about chosen one. We have evidence from the transcript and from testimony from Taylor, Vindman, and soon people from OMB that chosen one attempted to condition both a White House visit and the aid package upon Ukraine's willingness to play ball on Burisma, the Bidens and Crowdstrike. It would be a mistake imo to get derailed from these essentials. Rudy is a colorful sideshow that is mainly a distraction from the essentials of the case for impeachment. Rudy matters only to the extent that he was used by chosen one to communicate to the Ukrainians what it would take to get the aid and the White House meeting.

Of course Rudy possibly has legal problems of his own. But that is not really central to the case for impeachment.

It was Morrison who described having a "sinking feeling" and alerted NSC lawyers after a Sept. 7 call between Sondland and Trump about the alleged pressure, according to Taylor's testimony.

"According to Mr. Morrison, President Trump told Ambassador Sondland that he was not asking for a 'quid pro quo,' " Taylor wrote in his opening statement. "But President Trump did insist that President Zelenskiy go to a microphone and say he is opening investigations of Biden and 2016 election interference, and that President Zelenskiy should want to do this himself. Mr. Morrison said that he told Ambassador Bolton and the NSC lawyers of this phone call between President Trump and Ambassador Sondland."

if Trump is gone he is going to snipe at whoever takes over because his ego demands that the country all apart without him. I think this is going to end up with Trump running in 2020 even if he is removed.
