So much has been said about players caring less about striking out in order to hit more home runs. Only ONE major league with any significant playing time in 2019 has more home runs than strikeouts:
Ex-Brave Tommy LaStella has seven homers and only Five strikeouts for the Angels. Already a career high, his previous best was 2017 when he had five homers and 18 strikeouts in 125 at-bats for the Cubs. Last year, he had only one homer and 27 strikeouts.
