I am all for keeping the guy down but at what point do you say he has nothing else to prove. I mean there is hot streaks and there is whatever this is that he is doing.

What is the story on Rowen guy. Continues to throw well

I wanted to trade this guy for Realmuto. So glad I look stupid

And both of you may have been right. Riley looks dang good at the moment, but he has done nothing at the mlb level yet.

If Riley keeps this up and proves to be good in the outfield, Ender may be trade bait come the deadline.

Damn, Riley is on fire! He is going to force them to promote him!

Riley is on fire. It is still less than a 15 game sample.
I’m just going to enjoy it and read what non braves evaluations say.
The mlb team is hitting fine. It’s the pitching that sucks despite pitching being our focus of talent allocation for years.
Riley has to be a top a 60FV prospect now right? Any chance some bullish 65FV are out there?
AVG is .315 with a .321 BABIP. not sporting that unsustainable BABIP so far, either.
legitimately could not ask for a better showing from Riley so far this season.

10/20 bb/k%
Thats absurdly good for a power hitter.
Came in at #33 overall and a 55 FV by Fangraphs. He's having a great year but is also repeating AAA. His K% is down considerably and his BB rate has improved as well. Still, I'd say a 65 FV ranking is unlikely. If he finishes the year as good as he's started, he'll likely be a 60 FV and a top 15 overall prospect. But he would need to crack the top 5 overall to get a 65 FV rating and most of the players who have 65 or better FVs generally have much better overall tools than Riley has.
How long to the Braves have to keep him down in the minors to get that extra year of control?
