For now I just assume Riley will homer everyday. Let me know when he doesn’t.

What if Riley just continues to homer every single day for the rest of his career? I mean, I know the chances of that happening are only like 30%, but what if???

Power is fantastic but the bb/k rates are probabaly even more impressive considering rileys previous track record.

That babip means it ain’t luck right ? Anywhere from 280-320 pretty doable?

The FO that needlessly promoted him early knew what they were doing and are paid to do this. We aren't, so we can't know more than them. Correction....they used to be paid to do this..

I also don't see the reasoning behind signing DK over CK, and I'm going to assume the Braves can only afford one of them. Like Bumgarner, DK would be an improvement in the rotation, but it seems like CK would be a bigger improvement in the BP.

His HR/FB rate is definitely lucky right now. That said he's hitting very well and his K% is the most encouraging thing for him right now

Yeah, that is what has me excited about his numbers this year. It was mainly his high strikeout rate and his tendency to struggle the first time seeing a new level that had people doubting him. If he's somehow changed something so that he can manage a K rate closer to 20% consistently he's a prospect on another level.

It's not luck. It's just not sustainable. If you hit a homerun 5 straight times it isn't luck. It's just not sustainable.

It means the same thing when it comes to projecting him.
