Biddle has been terrible this year. I didn't even like dropping Blevins for him, Blevins is better.

The Braves announced that they’ve designated left-hander Jesse Biddle for assignment on Wednesday and placed center fielder Ender Inciarte on the 10-day injured list due to a lumbar strain. Biddle’s 40-man roster spot will go to top prospect Austin Riley, whose previously reported promotion has now been made official. Atlanta also recalled Touki Toussaint from Triple-A Gwinnett to round out tonight’s series of roster moves.

As much as I liked Biddle last year, this move had to be made. He didn't even look good in his AAA rehab IMO.

They both combined to cost us big time, just not sure the exact number as in some games others were involved too.

Even if you could look at it that way you are still assuming the guys who replace Biddle/minter would have succeeded. And you can’t.

Biddle is a classic example of the volatility of relievers. A guy can be solid one year and absolutely lose it the next. It's why you should always try to stock more relievers than you think you'll need during the offseason. Injury and ineffectiveness bite hard.
