smart to walk Acuna there with Swanson on deck. Swanson came in hitless vs Wainright and stays hitless.

Agreed. If Riley keeps his K% at or under 20%, the dude is gonna be a star. I'm gonna be interested to see how he reacts to facing guys with better stuff than Wainwright and Wacha.

A K rate under 20 for Riley would be a dream come true. The goal for sluggers like him is 25%ish.

That double was a thing of beauty.

He’s had a lot of batted-ball luck from the Olympian half of his parentage. Get back to me when you’ve read your Hesiod. #analytics

Cards broadcast said on this date in 1998 McGuire hit a 545 foot home run. That has to be a record--even for the Cardinals strength and conditioning program.

Okay. Riley is a superstar. Sign him to a 10 year 40 million dollar contract ASAP.

We might look back at the Marlins not taking our JTR trade offer as unbelievable luck.

If you'd have told me prior to the game we'd light up Wainwright for four runs in 2.1 innings, I'd have taken it in a heartbeat.

Riley reminds me of a Mark DeRo/Joey Bats hybrid at the plate.

I'd be willing to go 10/50 if he keeps hitting like this.

Ozzie a little overly aggressive there, but may have kept it from being a play at the plate.
