if not for Riley and the error that led to our first run, we lose this game. Riley has keyed this winning streak and was our offense tonight before that Freeman walk off.
I have thought about it and this is my favorite win of the season. Good pitching. Rookie bomb. Bad luck blown save but great pitching to keep it tied. Beast Newk. FF walk off against Hader. Not much to dislike about this win. And the kicker is we won the series against a great team that just took 3 of 4 from faillies.

I'm super impressed with what Newcomb and Jackson are doing in the bullpen. I didn't expect this from either of them.

not that we are thinking wild card, but if the giants hold on to beat the d'backs we'd be tied with Arizona for the second wild card.
