Riley just got around on a 102 MPH fastball. I think we can now safely put that argument to rest.

Comment directed towards the pen. They aren’t going to be perfect, but it’s gotten old.

Gonna be 2.5 behind the Phillies now--three in the loss column.

What a ****ty throw-away loss. I don’t blame Winkler as much as I do Snit. What an awful in-game manager.

Another loss bc of the pen. Go get somebody. Winkler is a decent reliever, but I don't want that guy pitching to the heart of contenders' lineups up 1 in the 8th

I think my deep hatred of the Phillies makes me more mad about this lose than the actual loss itself lol that franchise needs to be dumped in a garbage pile.

Cards will be burried by July. Not impressed with this team. They got some lucky breaks and a few bad pitches. Here is to smashing them by 12 tomorrow.

Hopefully, after the Memorial Day off, Snitker will put together a batting order that optimizes the team's offensive potential and stops trying to be "cute" for lack of some other words I could use.

Luke pitched 2 innings on Thursday, who knows if he's even available. I would have gone Webb though.

They have a pretty good lineup on paper. Their rotation should be decent too.

That said, we should be 4-1 against these guys.

9th blown save in 22 tries....but No reason to panic, blown game, move on to the next and win the series.
Only long term problem I see with this team as it’s currently constructed is the fact we don’t have one arm in our entire pen with maybe the exception of Newk or Tuki who a team like the Dodgers wouldn’t want to face.
It’s pretty much set in stone that we will have to face them if we make the postseason and even if our ownership spends some money and acquires CK, we still are gonna be 2 arms short to be able to fix that problem without paying a premium on trades this summer.

After saying all that our starting pitching has been lights out lately though so maybe we won’t need the BP to be the greatest if we continue to get such quality starts.

Luke and Touki both threw over 30 pitches on Thursday. I think Snit's plan was Swarzak, Winkler and Webb in the 9th.

I did wonder about burning Newk last night with a comfortable lead. Maybe use Tomlin in the 9th last night and have more options tonight.

How can you let a RHP face Carpenter in that situation? Snit is an idiot! Two losses so far on the road trip and both to trash non-playoff caliber teams!
