Fractured his hamate early in the season but only missed three weeks. I do remember reading that hamates can bother people for the rest of the season though, so that will be interesting to see how much they push him this year. The big thing hamates are supposed to do is limit power the season that it happens, which actually makes his numbers (and reportedly impressive exit velocity) this year more impressive.

I expect Langeliers and Shewmake to spend most of the summer in the Florida League, and start next season in AA.

Would they want Langeliers and Contreras both at Mississippi?

i think Langeliers will prob start at advanced A. AA seems aggressive for a kid brand new to pro ball.
