Reported velocity at 88-89 which is consistent with last year so thats a nice sign in his first start back.

Apparently he's been pitching simulated games every 5 days all year. So I doubt he has much rust like you'd normally expect.

If he keeps up his pace this year I’d put him in AAA in a month or so and if that’s successful I see your time frame reasonable depending on what’s going on with our MLB OF personnel at the time.

Hard to say. 77 pitches suggests he could make his next start in Atlanta. He mentioned he may only need a single start in the minors to deem himself ready.

I think they’ll see how he recovers over the next couple days, and I would expect to see him take one more turn in the minors. Of course Gausman giving few innings and Newk being spent for the next few days may accelerate that schedule.
