Precisely why I was critical of last year's decisions to put Bryse Wilson and Kyle Wright on the big club. The world doesn't end with decisions like that, but it sure truncates a lot of organizational flexibility in terms of options and service-time considerations.

instead of acquiring young pitching and developing it, the Braves should have relied on identifying guys like Mike Minor and Charlie Morton to fill out the rotation. what could go wrong

I can't think of anything...those kinds of deals always work out well for the teams

They clawed back that service time by now.

If options ever come into play they won’t have been hits.

My point with the options is that they may be used up by the time things truly come together for them. For all they contributed, neither Wright nor Wilson should have thrown a big league inning last season. And that's not a knock against them. Talented guys, but need more experience.

If they’re still quad a talents two years from now, it’s probably not going to happen for them, I wouldn’t think.

Morton wasn’t that good but dang Nate McClouth brings back bad memories. He was so disappointing.

Also underwent a significant arm slot change to replicate Halladay's delivery IIRC.
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?
