Hopefully next time we face Philly they'll have to face our best. They got to beat up on our kids not ready and bad bullpen that first series. This time the best they'll face is Newk spot starting. Though I hope Fried pitches much better today to change that. Whatever the case I look forward to the series where the Phillies have to face Soroka, DK and Teheran. Plus our pen is not in good shape entering tonight, Jackson is likely out tonight after pitching the last two while Newk in the rotation obviously weakens our pen too. Hopefully we win two of three at least despite that.
I was hoping we'd send Winkler down for Dayton or Parsons to start this series.

i actually prefer Dayton anyway. But either would be more useful than Winkler imo.
Man Frieds numbers came back to earth in a hurry
Advantage with Parsons is his multi-inning ability. With Newcomb spot-starting, Touki could be burned even if Newcomb pitches fairly well.
