Pirates kinda toasted this pen to where the good choices are unavailable for tonight. Only thing is I would've probably gone to Tomlin earlier.
Once Fried crapped the bed again, you were put in an insanely difficult spot for tonight.
Aggression with prospects is fine, but being stupid is not. There should be a way to find a happy medium between a Pirates like idea of being overly cautious with prospects and going stupidly fast with prospects.
Kingery has a dang 1.021 ops. Freaking luck
Webb didn't pitch yesterday, Swarzak was available too. Now Jackson who has given up runs in his last three was certainly out. Plus Touki is out as you need him available tomorrow following Newk. But still Blevins and Minter are available along with Tomlin and Winkler.
I'd used one of if not both Webb/Swarzak tonight rather than giving up on the boys so early.
How has McCann or Snit not been thrown out yet? Holy hell.

The pitching has been awful but this ump has cost us at least one run. Just insane
It’s pretty clear Snit is saving some of our best BP arms tonight after high usage recently
hopefully the bright side of leaving winkler in so long tonight means he is replaced with a fresh arm tomorrow.
But Webb and Swarzak haven't had even back to back games, only Jackson.
Parsons and Sobotka have both been good since their demotions
