I was all about getting Ozuna or another legit outfielder this offseason but they have made me start to change my mind with how well they’ve done. I’d move em both up at the break to AAA.

Pache took over the game. He is definitely the best player on the field.

Pache threw a runner out at home to save a run in extra innings. He also made a throw earlier in the game that saved a run. Pache is looking like a future star.

    Waters is not shabby either.
    Nah, hate I missed it

Pache is so young, still improving and night and day from his first year to now. I am a huge fan of that kid. And Waters is my 1B. Both are good guys.

Yeah but Pache doesn’t have the .450+ BABIP that Waters has and has an ISO over .200... that’s a big deal from a guy whose main question mark was game power. Waters has also increased his K rate every year and Pache is keeping his K rate pretty low and has improved his walk rate substantially. Waters BB rate is awful. I love Waters and think he will continue to adjust but he’s got some pretty big holes being covered up by the most ridiculous BABIP I’ve seen in a while. I mean .450+

Long ago heard promotion to AA was the toughest. Contreras hitting .083, Jenista .107. Makes Waters performance all the more impressive.

Waters in 1013 PA in milb has a .400 babip. Not saying he'll maintain that, but a high babip seems to be the norm with him. Hell, steamer projects him at .343 babip

DK seems ready to make his next start in Atlanta...or more accurately, Friday in DC.
