So, do we think Martin is our big get or does AA have something bigger up his sleeve?

Puig had to be held back by several guys and was still coming. Him and Farnsworth going at it would be pay per view worthy.

I think we end up with a bat of some sort. I'm going take a big step out and say Wil Myers and 30+ million in cash for spare parts.

I think AA is going to rely on an OF of Acuna, Inciarte, and Duvall with Culberson getting some starts every once in a while. I think he'll try to rely on Duvall going on enough of a run for the next few weeks to plug the gap until Markakis returns.

I think there are better than 50/50 odds he grabs another reliever and about 50/50 he picks up a starting pitcher.

Reports are we're more focused on adding an OFer than anything else, and I think that makes sense. No idea if Neck will even be back this year. I like Duvall and have stayed an active supporter of his throughout the year, this is just what I expect to happen.

New Rosenthal story quotes a GM saying that Felipe Vasquez has a 50/50 shot of getting dealt now. Dodgers seem to be the only team connected to him publicly.

About 7 hrs remain in deadline dealings. What did last night's BP melt down show AA?? My guess is the need for a true closer, another set up guy, possible a starter and a new manager. Unfortunately, managers are not traded at deadline normally. Snits has shown time after time he has NO knowledge of how to use relievers to the team's advantage. He really needs to go.

Yeah he was great - came to defend his teammates, and even called some of them out for not helping. Amazing. This guy did a fantastic job breaking down the fight

If we hold steady on an OF’er then we no doubt need another high leverage reliever and another SP. If the starter isn’t a difference maker then just hold what you have.

Vazquez would be a yuge get. Vazquez and Martin transform the pen.

For sure. Gotta drop Minter for Webb ASAP. I’d like to find a way to keep Walker around.

Vazquez would no doubt change the whole look of the bullpen and the end of the game for us. I’d say no to trading Anderson or Pache for him.
