Using the trade simulator, I got Syndergaard for Anderson, Wright, Contreras, and Gohara.

I think that's pretty fair. I wouldn't do it but its close.

I know a guy who is dating this girl who once sucked off the brother of the psychiatrist of the head custodian at Suntrust park. From what he's telling me, we have a trade in place for Syndergaard. Three team deal with the Giants.

We get Syndergaard and Will Smith

Mets get Kyle Wright, William Contreras, Freddy Tarnok, and Sean Hjelle

Giants get Duvall, Seth Lugo, Allard, and Bryse Wilson

I told him he was stupid, but he said the custodian overheard it while cleaning the toilets and AA was on the phone with Brody while taking a dump.

Would be kinda fun to see AA get the guy back who probably hurt the most to trade in hindsight.

Allard to me has almost no trade value. Teams have to know if we haven't used him yet as a reliever or starter when we've been trying hard to find help starting and relieving, then it probably isn't happening.

Yeah but can you provide a mathematical formula proving that.

I prefer Steiner Math. But speaking of Trump is he a yankee fan? Probably says a lot about both.

He was born in Queens... so good chance he was probably a Mets fan.

He's a Patriots fan as well, as far as I know. Not sure how long that's been though and if he was ever a Giants or Jets fan to begin with.

I watched Rome about a week before last year's trade deadline and saw a ton of scouts, with the Orioles and Mets among them.

JC Encarnacion went something like 4 for 6 with a homer in a doubleheader and just looked like a stud. A few days later he was part of the Gausman trade. I still wonder if that scout went there with him in mind, or was impressed enough to want him because he caught him on a good day.

    2 trades I would make:

    1) Wright + Davidson for Stroman

    2) Anderson + Wentz + Demeritte for Felipe Vazquez

Those are the kinds of fair value (incorporating a contender's premium) deals that would upgrade the team substantially for this year and next year but still leave us with quite a bit left on the farm (Pache, Waters, Wilson, Muller, Ynoa, Weigel, etc, etc) plus the young guys in the majors (Soroka, Fried, Riley). It balances near-term improvement with maintaining a long window of contention.

And it works from the perspective of the other teams. Certainly, those offers would be considered highly competitive for Stroman and Vazquez. The other team's GM would not hang up on those kinds of offers.

Trading our best pitching prospect for a reliever seems like a terrible waste of assets. Why not just trade Wentz and fodder for Giles?

Trading Wright and Anderson in separate deals that only bring back one year of back end starting pitching control seems like a poor decision.

Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

If true, this makes Diekman more of a potential target for us than Kennedy.
