Thank you for this in depth analysis.

Please follow it up with your rest of season projections for Riley.

I’m too lazy to look but do we play the O’s? lol

DK obviously tired early and was rusty, The Braves gave the Nats a big inning, and had the go ahead runs on base in the 9th.

This was not a bad loss.

damn. That’s why I laugh at the Rays and Yankees’ records, at least to a degree. The O’s aren’t a free win but they’re unbelievably close.

Right, a home and home series. Same as Nats with the O's.

Agreed. I think I realized the Nats are my most hated team tonight. I thought it was the Phillies but damn I hate losing to Washington

Odd, considering all losses count equally, and the Nats and Braves haven’t actually competed for anything in years, but ok.

Phillies are pretenders, but the Nats are a real threat. Need to beat them every game we can as they are about to have a cake walk of a schedule.

I was stunned in the 9th when the Culbertson ball was caught easily. Off the bat I thought it was a certain game tying hit. Tonight was straight frustrating.

And then Dansby looked like he placed a blooper perfectly. However Robles dives and avoids two defenders and blindly catches the ball. And he almost completely dove past the ball but reached back and made the catch. How he managed to catch it while avoiding two other defenders is beyond me. Just flat out bad luck tonight. Move along and take tomorrow and all will be well.

we started 0-3 vs philly too, if we can beat them tomorrow we have a good shot to win the series with Soroka in game three.

yup, odd indeed. But it is what it is. Emotions don’t directly correspond with rationale, so. Haha

The Phillies don't have the rotation to win three of five just by showing up. The Nats do. Have to keep throwing dirt on them.

I guess they haven't showed up much this year then since they are a sub .500 team.

Division is a joke again. 86 wins probably takes the east this season.

True for now, go look at the 1992 Braves. Fair comparison in my opinion.
