Yeah. As hot as the Nats have been since the Mets swept them they have gained 0 games on the Braves. This was their 'push' and it didn't earn them ****.

We're in the driver's seat for the division, but we still have a lot of work to do.
Nats have a powder puff schedule to end the all star break.

at Marlins, at Tigers, vs Royals and Marlins.

Luke Jackson has the stuff, but he needs to be confident in it, that is the problem.

    95-98 mph Fastball
    Nasty cutter
Nasty curve, which is really good.
    Nasty slider

Pitching coach needs to talk to him about WALKING people.

Then we don't need to have Fred Sanford moments. Those who are 45 or 50 older would know what it means.

Already happened. They have played .666 ball the last month and didn't gain anything in the standings.

    Update on Soroka from mlb.com

Soroka exited Sunday afternoon’s game against the Nationals after he was hit on his right forearm by an Austin Voth pitch. The Braves announced Soroka was removed for precautionary reasons.

They have an easy schedule to end the 1st half and open up with the O's to start the 2nd half. Nowhere close to over.

yea they could win something like 8 straight with that schedule, or at least go 8-2.

Fair enough but on paper it's a pretty favorable schedule to end the first half.

This reminds me of you saying the braves' FO doesn't make irrational roster moves like this board would last night (in reference to folty).... couple hours later, folty to AAA

The Nats are a sub .500 team and had to play .666 baseball the last month to get there. Thinking what they have done the last month is their true talent level is just not correct.

I'm not saying they're the Dodgers but they've underachieved in the 1st half and been a little unlucky.

Bowman: X-rays on Soroka’s forearm were negative. He won’t start in Folty spot Thursday, but could take his regular turn Friday.

It’s the irregular at bats. Lets a player get lots of rest. Rest=Good.
